Java(TM) 2 Platform Standard Edition Runtime Environment

The Java 2 Platform Standard Edition Runtime Environment (JRE) contains
everything necessary to run applets and applications designed for the Java
platform. This includes the Java virtual machine, plus the Java platform
classes and supporting files.

The JRE is freely redistributable, per the terms of the included license.

Sun JRE 5.0 (Java Runtime Environment) is commercial software but free to use.

If you want to use the Sun JRE for Java applets in Mozilla Suite,
Mozilla Firefox, Konqueror or Mozilla Gecko based web browsers, run the
following commands as root:

# cd /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
# ln -s /usr/java/jre1.5.0_04/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
